Service Agreement
When you hire Affordable Oxnard Movers, you enter into an agreement to have your belongings moved in accordance with the services and rates outlined in the quote provided. The agreement is valid once you confirm the booking and accept the terms.
Booking and Payments
- Booking: To schedule your move, we require a confirmed booking at least 48 hours before your preferred moving date.
- Payments: Payment is due upon completion of the moving services unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. We accept payments through cash, card, or online methods (Visa, MasterCard, etc.).
- Deposits: A deposit may be required for certain moves, depending on the size and scope of the job. This will be discussed during the booking process.
Moving Services
Our moving services include packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking as per your agreement. Any additional services requested on the day of the move will be charged separately.
Customer Responsibility
- Access to Property: The customer is responsible for providing access to the property for the movers. If access is denied or delayed, additional charges may apply.
- Valuable Items: We recommend that you move any extremely valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items on your own or discuss proper handling with us before the move.
- Personal Liability: The customer is responsible for ensuring all items are properly packed and prepared for the move.
Damage or Loss
While we take every precaution to protect your belongings, Affordable Oxnard Movers is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs during the move unless it results from negligence on our part. We offer optional insurance for an additional fee, which you can purchase for extra protection.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellation: You may cancel your move at least 24 hours before the scheduled date for a full refund of any deposit made. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your move, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any additional fees.
Privacy and Data Use
Your personal information is collected and used solely for the purpose of providing the moving services you’ve requested. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we protect and use your data.
Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes, we encourage you to contact us directly at info@affordableoxnardmovers.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be handled through arbitration as per the laws of the State of California.
